Given the number of users who still think that modern day notebooks will continue to work properly when operated on a bedspread or other air restricting medium, one has to consider the multitude of other possible variables which may be attributable to your issue that have not been identified, so (nothwithstanding the fact that Dell Support doesn't routinely monitor this user-to-user forum) it's hardly reasonable to expect much in the way of a "company policy" response here. This is a user-to-user forum, not (and as is stressed in the Forum Guidelines) a substitute for contacting Technical Support.īy the same token, for every D600 which has had a system borad replaced, there are probably a thousand which have not, so this hardly qualifies as a "recall level" problem. ![]() If you take a look around here, you'll see that the "Dell reps" are conspiculously absent. ![]() "My question for the Dell reps on this forum: what has Dell done to address this problem?"
